Dear Fellow Members of the Lake Arrowhead Christian School Community,

As you are likely aware, Lake Arrowhead Christian School is facing financial challenges that could potentially lead to its closure. As a parent of a LACS student, my family and I personally understand the importance of preserving our beloved school and its values within the community. Losing the light and blessing that is LACS simply cannot happen!

Besides being a concerned parent, I also own Legion Home, a home improvement business. As my wife and I sat in the planning meeting on Wednesday, April 9th, I racked my brain as to what we could do to help fundraise for our school without causing anybody any undue stress or strain.

 
Therefore, after much prayer and consideration, I believe I have a solution:

I’m excited to announce the “Windows of Heaven” fundraiser in collaboration with LACS, as we stand together to keep our school's doors open and continue providing an excellent education and moral safe haven for our students.

Therefore, I pledge that Legion Home, a locally-owned company with a child in our school, will donate 5%

of the gross contract value for any window, door replacement, solar or battery project undertaken by LACS families, staff, faculty and their friends and family directly back to the school from now until July 31.

I believe this accomplishes multiple things:

1. Raises money for the future of what is currently LACS without crossing any lines or boundaries set in place by their board, since Legion Home is a private and separate entity.

2. Most of the homes here on the mountain are older and have terrible, inefficient windows and doors, causing our appliances to work harder (and break faster), which raises our SoCal Edition bills. This allows you to upgrade your home while adding value to our school without breaking your bank

3. Solar - if it makes sense - can and will save you money on your bills, without costing you anything and generating revenue. This offers us the opportunity to generate tens of thousands in revenue for our school without costing you a dime.

4. The Federal Government offers tax credits for efficient windows and doors, so you would be able to improve and add value to your home, while saving money on your taxes, and adding money to saving and preserving our school.

5. In some cases, solar will not only save you money on your monthly bills, but will allow for the replacement of your windows and doors without costing you anything. 

My family and I have been blessed. I am not a greedy man. Our products are excellent and our pricing is fair. I’m only interested in offering any of our services to you if it makes sense for your family in every conceivable way: I’m not interested in taking food off anybody’s table.

Your participation in this initiative is crucial to help maintain the high-quality education and moral development that our children deserve. By participating in this, you'll not only enhance your living space and save money, but also contribute to securing the future of our Mountain Community and Lake Arrowhead Christian School.
